Gilly has a wide range of skills through a career that has involved working with Training Providers and Colleges’ in Quality & Management/Assessor/Tutor/Internal Verifier and Learner Mentor in Apprenticeships, Functional/Key Skills, NVQs and BTEC: HMP offender learning in Management and Teaching: NHS in Facilities/P.A/Secretary and Auxiliary/Care Support. Is an active team-player and can be just as successful when working from home using ICT effectively. Ensures operational functions of centres and classroom activities optimise learning and meets the curriculum, awarding bodies, Apprenticeship and OfSTED set standards. A highly trained observer, that is always learner centre focused, and completes OTLA’s of tutors with a high degree of rigor, balanced with interactive and engaging activities in the classroom. Excellent administration, audit and quality control skills. Key functionality is to make sure that learners are supported throughout their study time, curriculum and learning journey; is proactive in identifying relevant personal development for self, and staff; oversee mentoring and coaching support to staff and carry out internal quality assurance processes; plan and manage EQA visits, internal audits and OfSTED inspections; analyse learner, OTLA, staff and stakeholder feedback and react/action accordingly; work with colleagues to produce a robust SAR and QIP. Roles have been to ensure all work is produced to the expected standards and to constantly and consistently strive for continuous quality improvement.
